This isn’t a big dramatic announcement. We just need a week to catch up on editing, outline a few future episodes, and do some maintenance on the site. The kind of stuff that piles up when you’re always focused on the next deadline.

There’s a weird pressure in podcasting to never miss a week, as if your audience will forget you exist the moment you go quiet. In our experience, that’s not true. People have 40 shows in their queue. They’ll survive without one episode of ours, and we’ll come back sharper for having taken the time.
